

Greyhounds (technically “English Greyhounds”) belong to a family of dogs named “sighthounds”, and as their name implies, they use their keen eyesight to hunt prey far away. They can run as fast as 45 miles per hour (73 km/h) and can reach their top speed in 3 strides.

I’m pretty sure that everyone know that greyhounds are the world’s fastest dogs. You can easily identify a greyhounds by their distinctive snout, large lungs, and tiny stomach.
